  • To schedule a free 15-minute consultation, reach out via our Contact page. During the call, we’ll discuss your goals, assess your needs, and see if we’re a good fit. I can also answer any questions you may have about me or the therapeutic process.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes long. Most clients begin with weekly sessions, though frequency can be adjusted based on your schedule and needs.

  • Chicago Perinatal Therapy is a virtual-only practice, providing therapy throughout Illinois via telehealth. I’ve found that telehealth sessions are often more convenient for clients who are pregnant, caring for a newborn, managing NICU visits, or balancing busy schedules.

  • Insurance coverage varies. We accept select plans and also offer private pay options. For details, please see our Fees & Insurance page.

  • Yes! You are welcome to bring your baby to sessions and breastfeed or pump if needed. Crying, diaper changes, and nap wake-ups are all a normal part of life with a baby, and they’re welcome in our sessions.

  • At this time, Chicago Perinatal Therapy works with individuals only. I have a trusted network of couples therapists and am happy to connect clients with referrals if relationship support would be helpful.

  • Your first session includes:

    • An introduction and overview of the therapy process

    • Discussion of your goals and challenges

    • Exploration of emotional needs related to pregnancy, postpartum anxiety or depression, infertility, or reproductive loss

    • Development of a personalized plan for future sessions

  • Not at all! Some clients choose to continue therapy after we’ve completed pregnancy and postpartum goals. I have several clients who I’ve worked with preconception who now have kindergarteners!
